The operation of medium-sized and larger MW solar plants requires more than a normal monitoring system - these plants require a professional operation management. The fast and comprehensible failure indication, as well as its consequent pursuit and elimination are as self-evident as its documentation and avoidance in future.

fieldLog - Logging in each performance category
fieldLog is the newest developments in the sector of data loggers. The device, equipped with all usual interfaces, saves all data from inverters, string currents and other sensors, which are produced in the field.
fieldLog may be implemented as component in the field or may be integrated to a complete operation and maintenance system via the connection to fieldMonitor.
Supported Inverters
AEG, Conergy, Converteam, Danfoss, Diehl Ako, Emerson, Fronius, Ingeteam, Kaco, Kostal, Refu, Satcon, Schneider Elektrik, Siemens, SMA, SolarMax.
The implementation of further manufacturers is possible at any time. Up to thirty inverters of one manufacturer may be connected.
Installation
The installation of the communication with inverters is possible via serial interfaces RS485, RS422,
RS232 or LAN.
The implementation of already installed weather stations is also possible (on demand).

Since MW photovoltaic plants are constructed, we do not discuss anymore if monitoring systems come into operation. It is part of the technology and is certainly always planned.
Nevertheless monitoring systems are not identical. While many providers only upgrade their products from small applications to the power plant operation, we developed a complete novelty for operation of large power plants.
We therefore do not only talk about monitoring, but operation management and a real control center.
The recorded data like string current, string voltage, insolation, wind velocity, module and ambient temperature, status of inverter, inverter messages etc. are online registered via a internet based software which is illustrated clearly and comprehensible. Automatical alarms via E-Mail, SMS or Fax, also via MDA or Handheld are as well registered as repairing requests via ticketing.
