Photovoltaic plant in Nagold inspires Japanese guests

Nagold. Important visitation of ING-Park: Leading delegation of Japanese solar concern Kaneka visited the Print Office Retsch before connection of its photovoltaic plant by the turn of the year.

thumb_retsch_026Sometimes we have to react fast. Florian Retsch, Director of the company Retschdruck, which has is head office in a former military building in the ING-Park, tought the same. For a long time he crossed his mind on using his roof for a solar power plant. On 2nd December of last year he had the choice: Either ordering immediately or waiting until next year and relinquishing nine percent of feed-in tariff. He decided to take the first possibility.

The company relatio RT from Balingen planned and organized the project in record time: "Two weeks after order placement, the first 54 kilowatt peak could be connected to the grid", describes Frank Rothacher, Managing Director of relatio RT Süd GmbH, who attended the project from the beginning. The construction time would have been six days. This enthused the Japanese guests and would be exceptional for them. "We are surprised and amazed of relatio's fast realization of the project", said Luis Fuijisawa working for Kaneka Germany. Furthermore, they would like to realize more projects planned by the relatio team, as relatio does not only install a high quantity of modules, but also works unconventionally and effectively.

Kaneka is one of the oldest manufacturers of thin-film modules, but in comparison to other thin-film modules, the installed hybrid-modules would feature a high degree of efficiency and would be much more eco-friendly: "We do not have any toxic waste on this roof, but a silicium product, which may be disposed easily without jeopardizing the environment after its life of installation", states Jörn Menke, technical Managing Director of relatio RT Nord GmbH & Co. KG. "fieldLog monitors data, so that the operator always has his plant under control. This product was developed by relatio. Its energy spectrum exceeds features of conventional data loggers". Performance data of the plant is available via internet at any time. "And if there is any fault, the system sends a SMS, so that we are able to react without delay."

The owner is proud of his plant, as he achieved his manifested ambition to give CO2 neutral energy, which his company consumes, back to community: "The carefully calculated average annual revenue at least covers our yearly consumption". In order to produce eco-friendly current in darker seasons, he also operates a raps-oil block heating station for heating his building.

relatio RT GmbH & Co. KG
relatio RT domiciled in Balingen and Rastede (Northern Germany) is a special company of the relatio company group responsible for sales, planning and construction of photovoltaic plants on roofs.

relatio company group
relatio is a young, dynamic company group offering numerous innovations and interesting projects in the sector of solar current production. The head office is in Balingen (Baden-Württemberg). relatio plans and realizes photovoltaic plants in entire Europe. The company participated in the realization of some of the largest plants in the world. After the successful introduction of "fieldMonitor" on the market in 2008, the company from Balingen is one of the most innovative suppliers of operation and monitoring systems for photovoltaic plants. The Tauberlandpark near Wertheim (70 MW) is up to now the largest solar park in Europe which was projected by relatio. Constructions have begun in January 2010.
